Virlanie Foundation
ALRES lends its expertise to the teachers and social workers of Virlanie Foundation. to train them on delivering quality, residential care to abandoned and surrendered children and adults with disabilities. Individual interdisciplinary screenings and home instructions were given by a team of physical, occupational and speech therapists, as well as special educators.
Down Syndrome Association of the Philippines
In collaboration with other therapy centers and organizations (Communicare, Core Skills, NEST and the UP-CAMPAA), ALRES led the team of volunteers for United for Down, an annual Therafree & Medical Mission sponsored by the Down Syndrome Association of the Philippines and UNILAB Foundation. This was held at the Decagon, Silver City in Pasig last August 25, 2019. A total of 145 free therapy screenings, consultations and home instruction programs were delivered to families of children with Down Syndrome from different regions of the Philippines
Safe Haven Community Center and Children's Home
ALRES supports the children with disabilities and those at-risk of developmental delays by providing pediatric therapy services (OT, PT, ST) both online and on-site. We also educate and train the houseparents so they can integrate addressing therapy goals into the children's daily routines.
Hospicio De San Jose
ALRES signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with Hospicio De San Jose to do SPED/OT/PT/ST therapy screenings with home program provision of the children and young adult residents with disabilities with follow-up screenings twice a year, training of their houseparents, and comprehensive baseline evaluations for residents whose papers are being processed for adoption. Assistance in program development is also being given by ALRES in order to provide their residents with disabilities optimal care and continuous opportunities for learning.
Philippine Manufacturing Company of Murata, Inc. (MURATA)
As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), leading Japanese-owned manufacturer of electronic innovations MURATA, partnered with ALRES to promote equitable access to high-quality pediatric therapy assessments and interventions to children doubly marginalized due to poverty and disability. They currently gave a scholarship grant for seven beneficiaries from Southern Luzon.
